The vesper light

The vesper light

An elegant architectural wall light made in solid recycled brass.

Our vesper light began life as a beautifully engineered, late nineteenth-century brass handrail. The original sections of handrail were long enough to produce the first ten vesper lights, which caused such a scrum, we knew we had to create more.

The vesper light quickly became a classic - thanks to the calibre of the engineering, the customisable nature of the design, and their refined architectural style.

We only make vesper lights to order, when you can choose between exposed or recessed bulbs, four hand-patinated brass finishes (honey, chocolate, dry bronze or verdigris), and four bracket styles (straight, angled, long or short).

The lights are made in solid brass and weigh two kilos each - they are substantial fixtures. We make each one to commission in our Stamford workshops and bring the highest quality to every stage of the making, finishing, wiring and packaging.

More details

The singular design is as effective alone as it is in pairs, or a run. The options for long or short brackets and exposed or recessed bulbs give the vesper lights versatility in terms of where and how they can be used - with short brackets/recessed bulbs working to illuminate staircases and hallways, and long brackets/exposed bulbs giving design-led accent or ambient lighting for larger, adaptable spaces. For outdoor/wet areas, we supply waterproof caps.
