A set of bespoke x-frame chairs

The brief was simple enough, even if the execution wasn't! The client said they loved the Spanish chair by Borge Mogensen, and they loved X-frame chairs.

So the challenge was to combine the two inspirations – one a 1950s design, the other with its roots in ancient civilisation.

It took quite a bit of playing about, but eventually the two designs came together to make the chair you can see here.

We were delighted with the result, and still receive messages from our client telling us how much they love them.
