A bespoke coffee bar

Our client asked us to design a freestanding coffee counter, that could hold its own in a very large kitchen space. The piece needed to be large and architectural, without stealing the show.

So we took inspiration from period English shop counters, with their pared back working aesthetic, and appropriate use of materials – in this case oak and Carrara marble.

The overall effect was restrained but impressive, and certainly somewhere I'd love to make my morning coffee!
