Home has excelled itself this year, deftly stepping in as office, classroom and goodness knows what else! At Christmas, home finally gets to do what it does best – to offer comfort and hopefully a little joy.
No. 19 is particularly good at doing Christmas. So much so that we've had two Christmases this year. The first time over two sultry August days, when House & Garden bustled into town with a beautiful chaos of Christmas decorations,candles and foliage (not forgetting the 10 foot tree!) to shoot their festive feature.
And now, after a frenetic end to the year, it's time for the real Christmas – a time when home is just home, and we're able to put feet up and enjoy the fruits of this year's labours. We hope you are able to do the same.
A final thank you to our exceptional team – as well as Miss Pickering, Pearl Bugg all the brilliant people who make what we do possible. And heartfelt thanks to all those who have given our antiques or commissioned one-off pieces a new home this year. Your appreciation of what we do means the world to us.
