The domus globe lantern

The domus globe lantern

The domus globe lantern brings together the details of antique lanterns Matthew has owned and loved, with hand-spun brass finials and lots of perfectly imperfect mouth-blown glass.

The three sizes allow it to work as a pendant over dining tables, task lights over islands and as a standalone lantern in entrances, rooms and halls.

As you can see from the diagrams below, it comes in three sizes and six configurations, with custom glass, finish and bulb configuration.

We make each lantern to order in our Stamford workshops, with blown glass and spun brass from our friends at Wilkinson and AD Spinners.

Finishes

The domus lantern comes in three sizes and thirteen configurations, so it can work as a small pendant over a dining table, a mid-sized light in an entrance or over an island, or as large centrepiece in a room or hall.

If you would like guidance, please get in touch.

Our domus lantern can also be customised with the bulb configuration, glass colour and metal finish, which can be any of our four standard brass finishes: verdigris, dry bronze, chocolate or honey. We're also happy to hand-paint the metalwork in a colour of your choice.

Our components are created by some wonderful master craftspeople who make all our glass and spun brass elements, here in the UK.
