Oak | whitewash

A natural oak, but lighter and more laid back. Actually, our whitewash is not really a wash. We use a natural dye to change the colour of the oak, rather than apply a superficial layer – this leaves the warm, wooden surface looking real and feeling natural to the touch. The lightly worn and dyed surface is hand-finished with a blend of naturally-derived oils and waxes, which offers protection while allowing the timber to evolve and develop a rich patina.
