A hexagonal 1940s lantern

A hexagonal 1940s lantern

So many things to love about this lantern. Made by the English company Revo in the 1930s, they married an 18th century Pagoda top and Neoclassical finial, with an industrial construction in iron and brass, even using a wing nut as the opening catch – and the whole thing works beautifully. Throw in the completely original condition and untouched patina, and you have something quite special. England c1940. Rewired, pat tested and with 100cm of brass chain and ceiling canopy (patinated to match the lantern).

Height: 48cm | Width: 27cm | Depth: 27cm
