The abacus rack | a custom solid wood plate rack from Matthew Cox

A wall-mounted or countertop plate rack, hand-made to order in solid, sustainably sourced timber.

The waterfall configuration has a solid timber top, a strong, slatted drying shelf, a versatile drying rack, and large brass hooks for hanging pots, pans and mugs. The abacus rack can be made at almost any length, and to accommodate most plates and bowls.

We can make the abacus rack in oiled oak (any of our oak finishes), sycamore, elm, ash, chestnut or walnut. We can also hand-paint the abacus rack.
