The raccolta design has its roots in 16th century Italy, so we looked for a period design that would work as a barstool, and remain in-keeping with the raccolta.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe design was eventually inspired by period milking stools, which scaled up beautifully, and echoed the curves and period of the raccolta.
